To rework existing medium voltage campus loop and provide engineered drawings for the new electrical service upgrade of the existing Lee Clement Arena and associated gym building.
The existing medium voltage loop, transformation and the electrical main services for the ice arena and gym buildings were upgraded in this project scope. The design included a proposed change path of the MV overhead system and poles on site, reworking the existing transformation and service lateral so that there would be one larger 480 volt service to the buildings. Some of the medium voltage poles to the north of the gym were removed to make room for building expansion. The new arena service was designed to provide power to the ice arena and to have spare capacity for the addition of a large dehumidification system in the future.
