This FAA project consisted of a removal of an existing above ground fuel tank and replacing it with a new 650 gallon above ground fuel tank with associated reworking of the existing stair platform, electrical branch circuit wiring and grounding electrode grid system
The existing generator building had a 208V/120V 3 phase panel that
served the existing fuel tank that was reworked. The existing tank was replaced with a new 650Gal tank and a new Veeder root TSL-300C system was installed. The reworking of the existing #4/0 grounding electrode system was also accomplished per FAA standards. The project was designed under FAA guidelines and FAA Drawing Series: IAD-D-ATCT-C002-BL.
