This project included the design of a Mass Notification Fire Alarm Systems, as well as Tier II and Tier III drawings for the two new buildings that were added to the second oldest Air National Guard Campus in the US.
This project consisted of providing a FA tier II & Tier III set of documents including Fire Alarm Riser with FACP, speaker/strobe appliances and initiating devices. The floor plans identifying all devices including FACP, Mass Notification, Local operating consoles, FAA, explosion proof speaker strobes, sprinkler system monitoring and interconnecting wiring, battery calculations, and voltage drop calculations. The drawings included a FA matrix for the sequence of operations, detailed 3 line diagram and device details.
This project also included using our ESE Monaco Certification to fully commission the Fire Alarm System. ESE provided all NFPA commissioning and testing documentation which included Intelligibility and DB testing of all speakers/strobes as well as all SLC devices throughout the buildings in scope. The system final testing was witnessed by EC the FA Engineer of Record and the ANG Base Fire Prevention representative for final sign off.
