A brand new community, Residences at Brighton Marine offers a unique living experience for those who have proudly served our country, those currently serving and their families.

 

The $46 million project was master planned and designed by the firm TAT for the developer WinnDevelopment, and Brighton Marine, a nonprofit veterans’ organization.

DS Graphics' new industrial printing facility of the 167,000 SF tenant fit-up and warehouse addition project included building out a new interior space featuring individual offices as well as open office spaces, a new warehouse, breakroom, conference rooms, café, reception area and customer area.

Construction is complete on the new 5-story, 117,000 SF dual brand Residence Inn/Fairfield Inn by Marriott. This location will be the first of five dual-branded hotels in the XSS Hotels’ pipeline with more to follow in Greater Boston and one in the New York metropolitan area over the next few years.

ARRAKIS TRIMBLE POINT LAYOUT
WALTHAM, MA

This project consisted of Electrical Trimble Layout of electrical fixtures and devices within the 45,000 square feet of the office and lab space renovation. 

Layout was required for all fire alarm devices, ceiling utility panels, first and second floor power devices, emergency lighting, floor boxes, poke throughs, furniture feeds, and all electrical panels within the tenant space. One quarter of all lighting was also required in order to lay out all rows and columns in the field easily.

FINCH CAMBRIDGE APARTMENTS
CAMBRIDGE, MA

This is the largest new multi-family affordable housing development in Cambridge in 40 years.

The 124,000sf development will provide 98 rental units ranging from one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments that are permanently affordable to low-income households, as well as moderate and middle-income households. 

Together, the project team worked through the details to ensure compliance with passive house standards and to prepare for the rigorous inspections scheduled throughout the design and construction process.

DYNAMIC EV CAR CHARGING STATION 
NEW YORK, NY

Project Scope included new site electrical distribution to provide DC power to four car charging posts.

A new primary service lateral was routed to a new pad mounted transformer. The transformer then served pad mounted NEMA 3R switchgear that provided AC power to four ABB Terra HP Dynamic car charging power inverter cabinets.

From those cabinets DC power was provided to the dynamic EV car charging posts for public consumption at up to 500Amps per post.

OLD COLONY HOUSING - PHASES I, II, & III

Originally constructed in 1940, Old Colony is one of the oldest federal public housing developments in the country, and prior to the current redevelopment effort, was one of the most distressed properties in the BHA's federal portfolio. BHA is redeveloping the 845-unit Old Colony in multiple phases. To date, the first two phases and a portion of the third phase of the redevelopment have been completed, resulting in the replacement of blighted public housing with 420 new apartment units and town homes.

WHITTIER CHOICE NEIGHBORHOOD
ROXBURY, MA

This project is phase 1A of the Whittier Choice Neighborhood initiative designed to redevelop the site of the Whittier Street Apartments in Roxbury.

Flat 9 at Whittier involved demolition and removal of the existing Whittier Street Apartments in order to make way for the new construction.

Flat 9 is comprised of three buildings totaling 92 rental units which include both apartments and townhouses. The development includes amenities such as a community room, courtyard, office space for residents, and a playground.

DISCOVERY PARK BIM

This project included scanning and modeling approximately 30,000 square feet of two floors at Cambridge Discovery Park as outlined in Buildings 400 & 500. 

3D Laser scanning and delivery of a registered point cloud for the existing conduit runs and feed pull boxes to capture and provide record drawings of the real life existing electrical conditions on the 5th and 6th floors.

HOLY CROSS CHAPEL VIRTUAL SCAN
BROOKLINE, MA

This virtual scan and point cloud included 6,000 square feet single level Chapel building interior. This included the Narthex, Nave, and Sanctuary spaces, and required the scan to include capturing all visible elements one inch or greater. This included major items such as the Narthex Icons, Pews, Icon screen points, Pulpit, Bishop Throne, chanter stands, relics in the tomb, and the Alter area. Ceiling dome was also captured.

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS / STAYBRIDGE SUITES
REVERE, MA

Project is nearing completion for the new 79,350 SF dual-branded Holiday Inn Express & Staybridge Suites in Revere, just across the street from Suffolk Downs. 

The hotel blends comfort and affordability in 152 deluxe rooms with ocean views from the top floors.

The first floor features a lobby and reception, a lounge/bar area with seating, a fitness center, 24/7 market place, guest laundry facilities, and a 24-hour office zone. There are two meeting rooms, a board room, a pre-function area, and a car charging station.
