ESE provided a comprehensive life safety upgrade, including the preparation of a MA PE stamped Tier I set of engineered fire alarm drawings and a formal fire alarm narrative. The modernization included the installation of an addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), cellular communicator, NAC panels, and a full suite of fixtures, including horn/strobes, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual pull stations. Our team also integrated sprinkler monitoring for control zones and provided the initial affidavit to ensure full code compliance. Additionally, we executed a rapid scan-to-BIM process to replace outdated records, performing a quick scan of all accessible areas. This high-efficiency data collection allowed us to produce accurate floor plans detailing walls, windows, and ceiling heights (to the requested minimal detail level) via a point cloud file which was then transformed into a 3D model in Revit.
